A Message from our senior pastor

Greetings Community Church of God Family:

However, when it comes to the Israelites wandering in the wilderness the question that comes to mind is, what gave the people of God the strength, the power, the fortitude to travel for 40 years without giving up? The answer to that question is relying on a promise. Relying on the promise that God spoke to Abraham, “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all people on earth will be blessed through you. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.” “I promise to bring them out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey”. This promise was the motivation factor that kept them moving through the wilderness.

I greet you in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ who has kept us through the inception of our ministry to the present day. God almighty has kept us through forty (40) years of ministry! There is something special about the number 40. The gospel of Matthew records that Jesus fasted for 40 days. In the days of Noah, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. The people of God wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. What I have discovered is that it is not the number 40 that is special, but what miracles happen after the 40th mark. It is after Jesus fasted for 40 days His ministry was born. It was not until after the flood did, we receive a new Promise from God.

This promise was not activated until after the 40-year mark. Like the people of Israel, I believe as the leader of Community Church of God, now that we have passed the 40 year- mark, the Promise will be activated in our lives. Some of us have been holding on to the promises of God. However, I believe in 2024, it will be the season of Promises revealed and fulfilled. 2024 is the year of promises! 2024 is the year prophecy is fulfilled, dreams are accomplished, and vision is attained.

2024 is more than a year. 2024 is the word of the Lord as written in Leviticus 20:24 God promised, “You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
