Rev. Jeffrey compere

Senior Pastor

Pastor Jeffrey Compere (PJ) is known as a servant leader, gifted communicator, coach and teacher, Pastor Compere embodies the philosophy that to be a good leader you must be willing to serve first. He is skilled at reaching persons of all ages and demographics with his unique style of storytelling. His messages include personal anecdotes, props, and plenty of scripture to help listeners apply the word of God to their lives. Pastor Compere lives his personal mission statement “to serve God whole-heartedly, to love people sincerely, while living a holy life according to the standards of the holy bible”, out loud as a testimony to his commitment to be a disciple of Christ. In 2019, Pastor Compere became Senior Pastor of Community Church of God and has worked tirelessly since to bring forth the vision God has entrusted to him to serve the community.

Dr. Ruth Compere

First Lady

Dr. Ruth Compere has been a member of Community Church of God for over 20 years. She is married to her high sweetheart, Pastor Jeffrey Compere and is honored to be doing kingdom work together. She is the proud mother of two sons, Jeffrey II and Eli Matthew Compere. Dr. Ruth Completed her undergraduate degree at Southeastern University studying psychology, her masters degree at Trinity International University studying Mental Health Counseling. She furthered her education at Nova Southeastern University where she graduated with a doctorate degree in Marriage in Family Therapy. Dr. Ruth is currently a licensed mental health therapist in the state of Florida. Dr.Ruth is passionate about working with couples and individuals providing therapeutic services. But most importantly, Dr. Ruth is passionate about the kingdom of Christ, the people of God, missing works and winning souls for Christ.
